A fantastic Field Service Engineer opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer.

As a crucial member of their Field Service Team, you will represent the company at customer sites, guaranteeing the seamless operation and optimal performance of their cutting-edge machinery.

Key duties for the Field Service Engineer will include:

• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Machinery installations and commissioning at customer sites.
• Providing aftermarket services, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Conducting machinery build and pre-commissioning work in our workshop.
• Delivering customer training on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Working with motors, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, sensors, and switches.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.

Suitable applicants will hold the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Previous experience in an engineer maintenance or field service role, ideally with a background working on manufacturing. Production and/or packaging machinery.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Flexibility to travel within the UK & Ireland, with an average of 2 nights away from home per week.
• Availability to work occasional weekends, approximately 10 weekends per year (planned in advance).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit service team.

Location:

Applicants must be located within a 1.5-hour drive from Wychbold, Worcestershire, due to workshop and office commitments.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic salary: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum (salary dependent on experience).
• £4,000 Car Allowance + Mileage Allowance
• Paid Overtime: Satu0rday's at 1.5x standard rate, Sunday's at 2x standard rate.
