Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a profitable business that produces high-quality consumer goods.
Located in Keighley, West Yorkshire, this company is undergoing significant investment throughout its production and packaging facilities, as well as an expansion of its engineering team.
Working a Back Shift - Monday to Friday, you will work within a friendly engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving plant and equipment around the factory.
Typical duties will include:
- Respond safely and swiftly to machinery breakdowns
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities (PPM’s)
- Electrical fault-finding and corrective actions
- Mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Supporting engineering initiatives to minimise downtime and improve plant reliability
- Supporting machinery installation and refurbishment projects
To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Hands-on engineering maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- An Electrically Biased, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with good mechanical skills
- Holds recognised electrical engineering qualifications
- A Can-Do Attitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- PLC Fault-Finding Skills
