A Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) is sought by a leading Food Manufacturer. With a customer-base consisting of major grocery retailers, the environment is fast-paced and the role carries a diverse set of responsibilities.

Main duties of the role:

  • Delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance.
  • Responding safely and swiftly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
  • Ensuring that all necessary spare parts, materials, and equipment are available.
  • Ensuring correct setup of all production lines to maximise output.

Specifically, the appointed candidate will:

  • Have a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering.
  • Have prior Engineering experience within the Food Industry.
  • Work a 12-hour Night Shift pattern, 4on 4off 6pm–6am

Ideally, applicants will have experience maintaining some of the following equipment:

  • Industrial Chillers
  • Conveyors
  • Baggers
  • Weighers
  • Packers
  • Bottling Machines
  • Inspection machinery / Metal DetectionCook-Chill Equipment

This is a Permanent role with a salary of £42,000 per annum, 33 days holiday (25 days + 8 bank holidays), and Pension scheme. Ref:3386
