Mechanical Design Engineer

Basic salary between £35,000pa to £40,0000pa + Benefits

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.45pm, Friday’s - 8am to 3pm

This is a permanent position with a company that has been supplying special purpose machinery to the FMCG Manufacturing Industry for over 50 years.

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer, who can demonstrate at least two years of experience in bespoke machinery design.
 
Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to, the production of 2D Designs, 3D Models, Detailed Manufacturing Drawing, Parts Lists and Bill of Materials.
 
To be considered for this role, you must hold the following:
 

• Skilled in 3D design packages such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes for design
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
