Parts Administrator / Stock Controller

This will be an office-based role located in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

As their Parts Administrator / Stock Controller, you'll play a crucial role in the daily operations of this business.

Your tasks will include:

  • General administration duties for parts and stock.
  • Sourcing quotes for parts and materials listed in the Bill of Materials (BOM's).
  • Negotiating prices to secure the best possible deals.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and customers, maintaining excellent relationships.
  • Coordinating seamlessly with internal engineering and production teams.
  • Receiving and efficiently booking in stock deliveries.
  • Allocating parts and materials into Stores.
  • Actively monitoring and managing stock levels to optimize efficiency.

Suitable applicants will hold the following skills and qualities:

  • Strong administrative skills with previous experience within an engineering parts or stock control environment.
  • Energetic and motivated with a passion for contributing to a thriving team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues, suppliers, and customers effectively.
  • While prior experience with SAGE software would be an advantage, this is not essential as the company will provide on-the-job training.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Emails etc)

Salary & Benefits:

  • A basic salary ranging from £23,000 to £28,000 pa (salary level based on experience and skills).
