Capital Equipment Sales – Animal Feed Industry

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join one of Europe's leading capital equipment suppliers in response to its growth and expansion strategy. 

In this position, key responsibilities include selling, developing and promoting industrial equipment and engineered solutions to the Animal Feed Industry.

While you can be located anywhere within Europe, you must have the flexibility to travel frequently throughout the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).

Typical duties for the Regional Sales Manager will include:

  • Selling single machines and turnkey solutions to end users and via a network of agents.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales process from initial enquiry through to equipment handover.
  • Acting as sales leader for the company’s Feed Division.
  • Coordinating with Design, Technical and Projects Teams.
  • Develop a sales and market development strategy to achieve profitable growth.
  • Interpret customer needs and ensure proposed machinery meets the required application.
  • Identify further growth opportunities within existing accounts (Account Management).
  • Identify, qualify and nurture new customers relationships (New Business Development).
  • Manage product pricing and margins to maximise profits whilst remaining competitive.
  • Conduct market research, including customer trends and competitor activities.
  • Conduct contract negotiations.
  • Attend trade shows and organise local marking activities.
  • Promote the company’s full range of machinery.
  • Provide regular Sales forecasting reports.

To be considered for this role, you much be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A successful technical sales background.
  • Experience selling capital equipment/industrial machinery to the Animal Feed Industry.
  • The capability to understand customer applications and recommend technical solutions.
  • The ability to communicate on a technical level with customers and engineers.
  • Strong communication, negotiating and presentation skills.
