A leading Engineering business growing year-on-year has created a new role for a Service and Parts Administrator to join the team and play a key role in supporting customers with their ongoing needs.
When customers purchase Machinery from this business, they are supported by a team/departments including Service Engineers, Service Coordinators, Customer Support, Technical Support. The Service and Parts Administrator will work closely with these different departments to ensure customers have a positive experience and receive the parts they need, when they need them.
As the point of contact for customers, the person appointed will deal with parts enquiries, cascade information to the appropriate team, update spare part lists, review inventory levels on spare parts, support the sales team in the sale of service contracts, deal with invoice and billing questions, and input information into an SAP system.
Although not essential, previous experience of working for an Engineering/Manufacturing firm would assist, as would administration experience gained within a company that sold high-value capital equipment in a business-to-business capacity. Initiative and strong organizational skills are expected of all applicants.
Experience of using MS Applications is expected and exposure to SAP will assist, although training will be provided. The business has a track-record of promoting from within and is therefore interested in ambitious individuals who want to develop a successful career within the company.
Days role Monday to Friday. Salary £21,000 pa - £24,000 pa depending on experience.
